Want younger looking skin?
Photo rejuvenation is a revolutionary new procedure that creates younger and healthier looking skin.
As we age, we start to see signs of sun damage appearing in our complexion. This may include wrinkles, freckles, rosacea, broken capillaries, dark spots, blotchy skin colour, redness of the face and neck, enlarged pore size and sun damage.
Photo rejuvenation is able to treat all of this skin conditions and the collagen structure at the same time.
IPL uses intense pulsed light to heat the under layers of the skin, stimulating the production of collagen. More collagen means firmer, smoother skin with an obvious reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
What Is IPL Skin Rejuvenation?
Skin Rejuvenation is a revolutionary way to combat the signs of aging using IPLs, light sources, or LED (light emitting diode) devices to rejuvenate skin from the inside out. There are no harsh chemicals. No long recovery times. This non-invasive procedure results in smoother, healthier looking skin without the extensive investment of time and money required by other skin resurfacing treatments.
How Does The Skin Rejuvenation Procedure Work?
Skin Rejuvenation is a revolutionary approach that gives you optimal results with minimal inconvenience. IPL Skin Rejuvenation light passes harmlessly through the upper layers of your skin, stimulating the cells deep below the surface that produce natural collagen. The collagen and Elastin fibers continue to multiply after your treatment, and you will continue to see improved results over the months ahead.
How Is a IPL Photo Rejuvenation Procedure Different Than Other Anti-Aging Treatments?
With Skin Rejuvenation, your skin is not subjected to harsh, invasive treatments or the intense after-care of other facial rejuvenation procedures. Patented technology protects the sensitive surface layers of your skin, allowing the IPL light to penetrate to a deeper level and stimulate new collagen growth.
How Long Does a Treatment Take?
Skin Rejuvenation treatment is so quick and easy, that many patients come in for treatment during their lunch hour. The procedure takes between 15 and 30 minutes, and there are rarely any side effects. You can reapply your make-up right away and carry on with your day.
Can It be Combined With Other Procedures?
Absolutely, IPL Skin Rejuvenation is an ideal complement to Microdermabrasion, BOTOX®, filler agents, chemical peels, dermal needling and the Non-Surgical Facelift for an overall facial rejuvenation.
How Long Will it Take To Heal?
One of the most outstanding features of IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment is that there is virtually no downtime associated with the procedure. After a session, the area may appear red for up to an hour. However, makeup can immediately be applied.
Does it Hurt?
Not really. It might be a little uncomfortable on certain areas of your face. But mostly, it’s a gentle warmth that doesn’t hurt. Photo Rejuvenation treatment can be performed on any facial area – around the eyes, mouth, cheeks, chin – with minimal discomfort.
How many treatments are needed? and How long will it last?
Depending on your skin condition, you should notice a difference after one session.
For best results, we recommend 8-10 treatments, 3 weeks apart.
Clinical studies show that several treatments are needed to stimulate new collagen growth. We also recommend regular touch up treatments to sustain the continued growth of new collagen.
How will my skin look and feel after treatment?
You may feel as though you have a mild case of sunburn after your treatment and your skin may be slightly pink for 2 or 3 hours. This will disappear as will the mild swelling which you may experience after your treatment. Brown age spots and uneven pigmentation will turn slightly darker after treatment but clear up after a week or so.
Are there any side effects?
Our new Anthelia Skin Rejuvenation IPL technology is among the safest units on the market. Photo rejuvenation is a very safe procedure. There is virtually no healing time needed which is what makes it so great. Make up can be applied straight after the treatment if you want. It’s so quick and easy that clients can drop in on their lunch break and return to work straight after. But there are some very mild side effects that can occur but these are generally associated with darker skin types and too much sun exposure too soon after a treatment.
How do I prepare for treatment?
The face, neck and décolletage should be clean and free of all make up. Avoid tanning before and after as this will enhance blotchiness.
We highly recommend complimentary skin products to help maintain the results achieved. You can start using these before you begin your treatments.
